Digital dating draws users but meeting face-to-face still rules

BOSTON – More than a third of Boston's population is between the ages of 20 and 34, making this college town home to the highest proportion of young adults of any major city in America. With such a young demographic, dating digitally may be becoming the norm for many living in the Hub.
Yet just 15 percent of American adults say they have used an online dating site and/or mobile app, up from 11 percent in early 2013, according a Pew Research Center survey conducted last June and July.
