Former Maine governor Paul LePage hopes to earn a third term in office this November — and he wants to cut taxes, if elected.
The 73-year-old Republican has expressed support for abolishing Maine's state income tax. This week, however, he criticized Democratic governor Janet Mills for using her state's budget surplus to send Mainers $500 stimulus checks instead of cutting their taxes.
