Dead Minke Whale Found in Inland New Hampshire Bay

Marine biologists took samples from the minke whale's body to perform a limited necropsy, but plan to leave the partially decomposed body in Great Bay in the town of Newington, New Hampshire, which will minimize costs as well as allow other fish and animals to feed off the body. Newington is not on the coast, so the whale's body must have travelled from the Atlantic Ocean northwest up the Piscataqua River and then curled around to the west and south into Great Bay.

Many New Hampshire politicians, including the governor, criticized Trump, but at least two (a state senator and a Manchester alderman) say he got it right.
