Democrats need more of a grassroots effort to identify their voters and get them to the polls if they want to win close races around the country in November 2018, said Ray Buckley, chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party and a former Democratic National Committee vice chairman. Democrats have won several races recently, but fund raising for the national party has been dismal.
