Some people went to Vermont to avoid the coronavirus pandemic and now never anticipate going back home. Nearly 250 people who took a survey since moving to Vermont, at least temporarily, during the pandemic; and one-third said that they are either likely or very likely to stay in the state permanently. The question came as a part of an eight-question survey with the Vermont Futures Project, according to WCAX-TV Channel 20 in Burlington, Vermont.
