Coronavirus Pandemic Hurting Vermont Dairy Farmers; State Official Calls Grocery Store Limits Irrational
The Vermont dairy industry has not been doing too well since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
VTDigger reports that dairy farms in the state have been forced to dump more than 60,000 gallons of milk since the start of April. School and restaurant closures have hit hard, as have limits on how much milk grocery stores are letting people purchase at a time.
