Convicted Drug Trafficker Allowed To Stay Home To Tend To Ailing Child

The child has a life-threatening illness, so a federal judge is allowing a 38-year-old resident of Manchester, New Hampshire to stay home to take care of the child before the man is sentenced. A plea deal in place calls for seven years eight months in prison.

Father of Teen-Ager Who Fell Into A Sewer Drain Suing City

A 16-year-old boy was walking home in Nashua, New Hampshire during a heavy rainstorm when he well into a sewer shaft and drowned in wastewater one night in October 2016; the boy's body was found two days later in the Merrimack River in Tyngsborough, a northern Massachusetts town just south of Nashua. The boy's father says the Nashua public works department did little to prevent the sewer manhole cover from becoming dislodged even though they knew there was a problem; city officials say they can't figure out why the manhole cover moved.
