Construction Worker Who Hung Confederate Flag To Undergo Diversity Training

A construction worker who hung a Confederate flag at a Massachusetts Department of Transportation highway construction site in Fitchburg will not be fired but will undergo diversity training.

The construction worker found the flag left on the side of the road and thought there would be no problem if he hung it, according to USA Today.

An Easthampton family has decorated a giant 12-foot skeleton they own with a colorful flower bandana, a Pride flag, and a rainbow tutu in celebration of Pride month.

The family did so because they felt there was "not as much support for the community" this year, according to The Daily Hampshire Gazette.
