Connecticut To Lift Nearly All Coronavirus Restrictions By May 19

Coronavirus restrictions on business? All or almost all will be gone in Connecticut in less than one month.

The state's Democratic governor, Ned Lamont, announced on Monday, April 19 that outdoor restrictions will be gone on Saturday, May 1 and indoors, they will no longer be in effect as of Monday, May 19.

It was a rough winter for Vermont's skiing industry.

Ski resorts in the state reportedly lost $100 million this past winter as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Vermont Ski Areas Association said, according to The Rutland Herald. The organization estimates a lost of $700 million to the state's economy, given the related effects.
