In Connecticut, coronavirus cases are trending in a positive direction.
On Tuesday, July 21 and Wednesday, July 22, the state experienced zero reported coronavirus deaths, according to Patch.com, and there was a net increase of only one patient hospitalized with the virus — bringing the total in the state to 63.

On July 20, ICE deported Darcy McMenamin from the United States. Back in 1993 when he was 18 years old, McMenamin was a member of the Irish Republican Army and bombed a police station near Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, drawing a prison sentence of eight years, according to an ICE press release.
