Anti-rape activists at New England colleges hailed the Obama administration's interpretation of Title IX regulations to provide purported victims of sexual assault to choose to go through a college tribunal rather than the criminal justice system in order to pursue a case against their alleged assailants. Critics of the Obama administration's directives say they didn't provide protection for the rights of the accused.
