DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Some Jeb Bush donors have been slow to swing behind Marco Rubio since Bush's exit from the Republican presidential race this weekend, leaving other donors nervous that the mainstream GOP is running out of time to rally behind a single candidate.

Despite key commitments for Rubio from parts of Bush's vast fundraising network, others seem exhausted and disillusioned by what they thought was Bush's clear shot at the presidency, eclipsed by the rise and durability of the outsider Donald Trump.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — With Donald Trump's grasp on the Republican presidential nomination tightening, the billionaire businessman's rivals get one more chance to challenge the GOP front-runner on the debate stage before next week's slate of Super Tuesday contests.

The situation is likely more dire for the other GOP candidates than they'd like voters to believe. Yet Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have so far shown little willingness to take on the former reality television star when the national spotlight shines brightest.
