New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu says former New Jersey governor Chris Christie should drop out of the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
Sununu said he thinks that if Christie stays in the race he will fracture the anti-Donald Trump vote, aiding the former president and hurting Sununu's choice, Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and former United States ambassador to the United Nations.
Maura Healey took office as governor, Amy Carnevale became chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party, and Boston city councilor Kendra Lara lost re-election, among other things.
