Charges Dropped Against Anti-Tax-Cut Protesters Who Occupied Senator’s Office

U.S. Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) asked prosecutors not to pursue charges against nine people from an interdenominational religious group who occupied her office in Portland last year to protest her support for the Republican tax cut. Collins asked that members of the group each donate $100 to a victims compensation fund.
