WASHINGTON (AP) — GOP officials insist presidential nominee Donald Trump is finally hitting his stride and will catch up with Democrat Hillary Clinton by around Labor Day.

Clinton campaign officials dismissed the idea of a changed Trump as nonsense.

A Navy sailor was sentenced to a year in jail Friday for taking pictures of a nuclear propulsion system after he unsuccessfully used the "Hillary defense" in an attempt to avert the charge of unauthorized retention of defense information.
