Brockton Man Pleads Guilty To Role In Fentanyl Trafficking Operation

A Brockton man pleaded guilty last week to his role in a large-scale drug trafficking conspiracy around Weymouth and Quincy.

Neylton Fontes, 36, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, including cocaine and fentanyl; and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, and fentanyl, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.

A male competing on the girls' side of the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 3 outdoor track and field state championship meet could win yet another state title this week.

Kearsarge Regional High School sophomore Maelle Jacques, a biological male who identifies as a transgender girl, is scheduled to compete in the NHIAA Division 3 state title meet on Thursday, May 23 at Winnisquam Regional High School in Tilton, New Hampshire.
