Boston Man Sentenced For Bank Robbery

A resident of Boston was sentenced to 63 months in prison in federal court in Boston this week for his involvement in a robbery that took place at a TD Bank branch within the city.

Coleman Nee, 42, was also sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani to three years of supervised release.

The Massachusetts Attorney General's office has rejected three proposed ballot questions for 2024 seeking to implement ranked-choice voting in the state, saying they are similar to a ballot question that failed in 2020.

Article 74 of the Massachusetts Constitution prohibits the state attorney general from certifying a measure that is "substantially the same" as a measure brought to the state ballot at "either of the two preceding biennial state elections" – meaning, in this case, in 2020 or 2022.
