The Boston City Council has unanimously passed a resolution recognizing June 2023 as Pride Month in the city.
Ed Flynn, the city council president, who sponsored the resolution, said his main focus was "the hate crimes that we're seeing throughout Massachusetts but also throughout the country against the LGBTQ community, against the Immigrant Community as well, people of color."
