An environmental group that supported U.S. Senator Ed Markey's re-election this week "the final chapter" in the 44-year member of Congress's "Cinderella story."
Environment Massachusetts noted in a written statement that Markey was an early underdog in his primary race against now-outgoing U.S. Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III, which Markey won September 1.
