Boston Bruins To Retire Willie O’Ree’s Number

No Boston Bruins player will ever wear Number 22 ever again.

That's because the Bruins will retire the number before their Tuesday night game against the Carolina Hurricanes (formerly the Hartford Whalers), as the NHL's web site reports. They're retiring it in honor of former Boston Bruin Willie O'Ree, the first black National Hockey League player.

Quincy Republican Kim Duffy is no longer in the race to be the next governor of Massachusetts.

Duffy withdrew the remaining $193.67 from her campaign account on December 10, 2021, according to the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance. Under purpose, the withdrawal said "ACCOUNT CLOSED."
