Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Goes; Massachusetts Politicians Erupt

President Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness plan was overturned by the Supreme Court on Friday, June 30, as the court, in a 6-3 decision, ruled that the executive branch unconstitutionally usurped the legislature's role in passing legislation. 

"The Secretary's comprehensive debt cancellation plan cannot fairly be called a waiver – it not only nullifies existing provisions, but augments and expands them dramatically," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote, referring to the secretary of education.
