Starting on July 1, 2023, illegal immigrants will be eligible to obtain driver's licenses in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

That's because the Massachusetts Senate overrode Governor Charlie Baker's veto of the proposal (H.4805) on Thursday, June 9. The Senate overrode the governor's veto with a 32-8 vote, as CBS News reports. That's 80 percent of the members.
