Be Suspicious About Some ‘Lent-Friendly’ Fish Sandwiches

Some fast-food restaurants use oil rendered from animals to cook fish sandwiches that are otherwise pitched at Catholics during Lent, according to BusinessInsider.com, which asked several restaurants how they prepare certain types of sandwiches.

Roman Catholics aren't supposed to eat meat on Ash Wednesday, Fridays during Lent, and Good Friday (which technically isn't during Lent).

Standing water is a breeding ground for mosquitos, and stacked tires collect standing water. So the Plymouth County Mosquito Control Project removed 3,936 tires from a former auto repair business in Norwell, Massachusetts during the past few months — the lion's share of 4,617 old tires removed from properties throughout the county, according to The Patriot Ledger.
