Massachusetts voters overwhelmingly support transparency measures, according to a recent Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll.
The poll found that 76.8 percent of Bay Staters think that the Massachusetts state legislature, governor's office, and judiciary should allow public records requests, while just 18 percent opposed the idea. Massachusetts is the only state where all three entities claim an exemption from the state's public records law.
