U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Hyde Park) wants the federal government to commit to not deport anyone to Haiti.
Given the political instability in the country, including the recently announced resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry and recently heightened gang violence, Pressley told GBH News that deporting someone to Haiti is a "death sentence."
