The 114th National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Convention took place over the weekend, during which U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Hyde Park) gave a speech her office called a "love letter to Black Boston."
During the speech Saturday, July 29, Pressley mentioned several sub-categories of black people she said matter, including "black babies."
