The nationwide vote is expected to lead to legislation in Parliament to legalize same-sex marriage in all of Australia. Conservatives in Parliament are planning to offer amendments to try to protect religious freedom, but observers expect same-sex marriage to be legalized before the end of 2017.

In this one, Springfield police officers went 25 miles outside the city because they believed the suspect was armed and dangerous; he had a gun in the car that turned out to be a replica, not real; chase speeds exceeded 100 miles per hour and ended in a pileup, with no injuries.
