The mayor of Attleboro is stepping down at the beginning of 2023.
Attleboro mayor Paul Heroux, the sheriff-elect of Bristol County, plans to resign from his current post at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2023; he is set to assume office as the Bristol County sheriff one minute later.
