Atheist Flag Flies Next To Ten Commandments Monument in New Hampshire

As expected, the city of Somersworth, New Hampshire has allowed an atheist activist to fly a flag celebrating atheism on a flagpole outside the city hall next to a permanent granite Ten Commandments monument. The blue flag with a red A on it is scheduled to fly from the flagpole during the month of January.

Trump Tax Cut Leads Eversource To Reduce Planned Rate Increase

The reduction in the federal corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent reduces the utility company's expenses, so the company is seeking approval from government regulators for less of a rate increase in western Massachusetts than it previously wanted. A spokesman for the company says eastern Massachusetts may see even more of a reduction in the proposed increase.
