Archdiocese of Boston Removes Nigerian Priest From Brookline Parish

The Archdiocese of Boston has removed from ministry a priest from Nigeria because of allegations that he sexually abused a child in 2007.

Father Christian Ohazulume had been living since 2010 at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Brookline, where he assisted in celebrating Mass and hearing confessions while serving as chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, according to The Pilot, the newspaper of the archdiocese.

Vermont is planning to move 200 prisoners now incarcerated at a privately operated prison in Pennsylvania to a privately operated prison in Mississippi.

State officials have been unhappy with the Pennsylvania prison, where four Vermont inmates have died, according to VTDigger.com.
