B.U. Group Lists Racial-Minority Faculty Members So Students Can Take Classes ‘Taught By Professors That Look Like Them’

Minority Connection Initiative, a student group at Boston University, posted a list of 37 minority professors who teach a total of 79 courses on its Facebook page. A freshman expressed mixed feelings, including:  "People should take the classes they want based on their interests and a professor's place of origin or ethnicity shouldn't have an impact on it."
