Conservative talk show legend Rush Limbaugh was surprised with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Donald Trump during his State of the Union speech.
Limbaugh, 69, who has announced he has advanced lung cancer, was sitting next to first lady Melania Trump in the U.S. House of Representatives chamber when the president mentioned him by name Tuesday, February 4.
Although former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick's 2020 presidential campaign is a longshot, the Democrat is raising plenty of money.
Patrick raised $2.2 million over the final six weeks of 2019, including $1.1 million from Massachusetts residents, as WBUR reports. In that same timeframe, he outraised in the state Massachusetts Senator ElizabethWarren, who received just over $1 million in the final quarter of 2010. Those two were the only candidates to raise more than $1 million in the Bay State in the fourth quarter of 2019.
