Afghan Refugees Arrive In Massachusetts

The first refugees are here — and the state will have to take in more of them than originally thought.

A family of three from Afghanistan landed at Logan Airport in Boston late last week, and a family of five arrived on Sunday. They are staying in a Boston-area hotel for the time being, but will be settled in Worcester County in central Massachusetts.
