Restaurants in Massachusetts are closing for good at a high rate because of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns associated with them.
More than 20 percent of restaurants in the state have permanently closed due to the emergency, and it is possible that others will not be able to survive in the coming months. There are about 16,000 restaurants in the Bay State and of those, about 3,400 have closed, according to MSN.
States have a coronavirus threat they didn't during the past severak months: colleges.
Not only do many colleges have students from across the world, including China, on their campuses this fall, but they have people from all over the country — and students who don't follow social distancing guidelines.
