Newburyport Public Schools have added 30 new students from Afghanistan at the beginning of 2022, Superintendent Sean Gallagher told The Newburyport Daily News.
Gallagher said that outside organizations and the community have been helpful in teaching these students, some of whom are not fluent in English.
