27,000 Drunken Driving Cases Could Be Thrown Out Thanks To Faulty Breathalyzer Tests In Massachusetts

Twenty-seven thousand people convicted of drunken driving in Massachusetts from June 1, 2011 through April 18, 2019 may be able to get their convictions overturned due to faulty breathalyzer testing machines.

The machines had faulty calibration that led to false results, a 2019 investigation found, according to CBS News Boston.
