20 Percent of Massachusetts Restaurants May Go Under Because of Coronavirus Shutdown

The widespread expectation is that there will be fewer restaurants in Massachusetts in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic.

MassLive.com reports  that according to the Massachusetts Restaurants Association, the economic destruction caused by a prolonged coronavirus shutdown will result in 20 percent of Bay State restaurants shutting their doors for good.

Congressman Seth Moulton slammed President Donald Trump for wanting to hold rallies amid the coronavirus pandemic, but simultaneously defended protestors gathering in large numbers and violating social distancing orders.

Moulton, a Democrat from Salem who represents Massachusetts's Sixth Congressional District, said comparing the two isn't reasonable, during an appearance Sunday, June 14 on WCVB-TV Channel 5's On the Record.
