This past Friday, remnants of the past were found in one of the least expected places: Government Center T station. Hidden behind a door jam in what used to be an entrance to the former Scollay Station was a 1915 edition of the Boston Post. A construction worker on site was the one to find the paper.

This section of Government Center has been abandoned for decades according to the MBTA. When re-opened, that part of the station will serve as an emergency egress from the Blue Line platforms.

MANCHESTER, NH – They lined the grassy entrance to St. Anselm College, home of the first GOP presidential forum, singing songs and carrying signs.

But instead of signs touting one of the 14 candidates slated to face off at Monday night's Voters Issues Forum, a majority of the activists carried signs touting support for (or opposition to) various causes, such as raising the retirement age or declassifying 9/11 reports.
