Many farms also offer pumpkin picking, hayrides, cider donuts and activities for children. Here are five great corn mazes in Massachusetts to check out this fall. ## **1\. Davis Mega Maze — Sterling** Davis Mega Maze in Sterling offers one of the biggest corn maze experiences in Massachusetts. The 2026 maze covers eight acres and includes nearly three miles of paths. Visitors can choose how much of the maze they want to complete, with seven different intensity levels available. Games and activities are scattered throughout the maze, including puzzles, I-Spy challenges, mini golf, slingshots and other attractions. The maze can take anywhere from about 30 minutes to three hours or more depending on how much visitors want to explore. Admission also includes access to the surrounding Mega Farm Festival, which has dozens of additional attractions, food and live music. Davis Mega Maze is open on weekends from Sept. 26 through Nov. 1 for the 2026 season. ## **2\. Sauchuk's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch — Plympton** Sauchuk Farm in Plympton gives South Shore residents a nearby option for a fall corn maze. The farm opened its first large-scale corn maze in 2007 and now makes the maze part of a larger fall festival. Sauchuk's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch opens Sept. 19 for the 2026 season and runs on weekends through Oct. 31. Visitors can explore the maze while also taking advantage of other farm attractions. The property has jumping pillows, a cow train, a carousel, playground areas and other activities. Pumpkin picking is available during the fall as well. Sauchuk Farm also grows apples, and visitors can combine the corn maze with apple picking during part of the season. ## **3\. Marini Farm — Ipswich** Marini Farm in Ipswich offers a seven-acre interactive corn maze. The farm gives visitors a game sheet before they enter the maze. Eighteen stations are hidden throughout the cornfield, and visitors try to find the answers as they make their way through. Completing the full maze and scavenger hunt takes about 90 minutes on average. The 2026 maze has a dinosaur theme. Marini Farm also offers a smaller one-acre maze for younger children. The mini maze takes about 20 minutes to complete and has five scavenger hunt stations. Other attractions include hayrides, a jumping pillow, giant slide, farm animals and several play areas. The maze is open on weekends during September and October. Saturday nights in October include flashlight maze hours. ## **4\. West End Creamery — Whitinsville** West End Creamery in Whitinsville hosts a Fall Festival and Corn Maze on its 28-acre farm. The farm has two corn mazes, including a larger five-acre maze and a smaller option. Its 2026 maze celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States and features patriotic images and symbols worked into the maze design. Admission also includes more than 25 games and activities. Visitors can take a wagon ride, race pedal carts, use the jumping area, play barnyard games and visit the pumpkin patch. The farm also offers Friday night flashlight mazes beginning in October. The 2026 Fall Festival runs from Sept. 26 through Nov. 1. ## **5\. Connors Farm — Danvers** Connors Farm in Danvers turns its property into a major fall attraction each year. The farm's 2026 fall season includes its Happy Halloween Corn Maze. The corn maze is included with admission to the farm's daytime fall attractions. Visitors can also take hayrides, ride the Putnamville Railroad, use jumping pillows, try pedal carts and explore several farm-themed play areas. Connors Farm also offers apple picking, pumpkin picking and fresh apple cider donuts during the fall. For visitors who want to try the maze after dark, the farm offers flashlight maze nights during the Halloween season. The 2026 fall season runs from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1. ## **When Do Corn Mazes Open in Massachusetts?** Most Massachusetts corn mazes open in September and continue through October. Some farms begin their fall activities around Labor Day, while others wait until the middle or end of September when the corn is ready. October is usually the busiest month. Many farms add special events as Halloween gets closer, including nighttime corn mazes, flashlight nights and haunted attractions. Corn mazes are also heavily affected by weather. Rain can make fields muddy or force farms to close their mazes for the day, so visitors should check the farm's website or social media pages before making the trip.
